Marty Owens has a diverse solicitor’s practice with a focus in the areas of commercial, corporate, real estate and estates. Marty has acted for numerous families over the past 35 years and assisted them with all their business and personal legal needs. Marty acts for various large and small public and private sector organizations on business matters and has assisted school boards in the acquisition and development of numerous school sites, for many years. He brings a knowledgeable and common sense approach to challenging issues. Marty obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Ottawa University in 1979 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1981. Marty was Bell Baker’s Managing Partner for 25 years, is a former Chair of the Education Foundation of Ottawa and a current Director with the Old Crow Football Inc. (Carleton University).
